Tractatio Quaestionum — Articulus I

De prima assignatione imaginis.

Consequenter ad intelligentiam istius partis secundae praesentis distinctionis, cuius divisio posita est supra, quantum ad primam assignationem imaginis, quae est per memoriam, intelligentiam et voluntatem, tria quaeruntur.

Primum est, utrum in his tribus attendatur ratio imaginis.

Secundum est de comparatione istarum ad obiectum.

Tertium est de comparatione earum ad animam vel subiectum.

On the first assignment of the image.

Next, for the understanding of this second part of the present distinction — the division of which was set out above — with respect to the first assignment of the image, which is through memory, understanding, and will, three things are asked.

The first is whether the account of the image is found in these three.

The second concerns the comparison of these to their object.

The third concerns their comparison to the soul or subject.
